PDF to Excel

Convert PDF tables to an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx): columns detected automatically, numbers as real numbers, preview first. Private.

Pull tables out of bank statements, invoices, price lists and reports into a spreadsheet you can sort, filter and sum. Columns are detected automatically, and amounts like 1,234.50 or (12.00) become real numbers Excel can calculate with.

Your PDF is converted on your own device and never uploaded — important for financial documents.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with bank statements?

Yes — statements are a typical use. Each line becomes a row and amounts become numbers. Check the preview, and leave out pages without tables.

Can it convert scanned PDFs?

Scans contain pictures of text, so there is nothing to read. The preview tells you when a page has no text; make the PDF searchable with PDF OCR first.

Will text that wraps inside a cell stay in one cell?

A cell that wraps onto a second line in the PDF becomes a second row. You may need to join such cells in Excel.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The text is read and the spreadsheet is created by your own browser.

Which programs can open the file?

Excel 2007 and later, Excel online, Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc and Numbers.
