Sign PDF

Sign a PDF yourself: draw, type or upload your signature, add the date, place it on any page and download. Free, private, no upload.

Fill in and sign contracts, forms and letters without printing and scanning. Draw your signature with a mouse or finger, type it in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of your signature — then place it, with the date, wherever it's needed.

Your document and your signature stay on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, and your signature is only remembered if you ask for it.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a legally valid signature?

It is an electronic signature — an image of your signature placed in the document, like signing a printed page. That is accepted for many everyday documents. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, which some official or regulated processes require.

Is my signature stored anywhere?

Only if you tick “Remember on this device”: then it is kept in this browser on this computer or phone. It is never sent to us. Untick the box to delete it.

Can I sign on my phone?

Yes. Draw your signature with your finger, then place it on the page and drag it into position.

Can I sign several pages?

Yes. Use ‹ › to go to another page and click “Place on this page” again.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF is signed by your own browser on your device.
